We woke up this morning to the first snow of the season. When it gets really cold outside, I'm of the opinion that it might as well snow....it just seems an easier way to justify the chill. Anyways, when Kyron woke up we told him to look out the window for a surprise! He ran to the window and when he pulled back the curtains we heard his little gasp of surprise and then he said "Is it Christmas?!" The innocence in that question made me smile all day as I thought of the moment. By the afternoon the snow was gone, but the morning snow built up the excitement for the future snow I'm certain will come. My only hope is that we won't have the 3 ft of snow in Oregon we experienced last year. As much fun as it was, it was too much!
