Late yesterday we headed to Southern Indiana for a quick visit with our Indiana Family, also known as the Days. This special friendship started when we met as neighbors almost seven years ago and has grown through the years. Although we're no longer neighbors, we remain close friends - in fact, they are more than friends, they're our family. The holidays wouldn't be the holidays if we couldn't spend time with family. We are so blessed and thankful that these great people have taken us in as their own and when we can't go to Oregon to be with family, we can always head to Jasper. I love how we can go weeks or even months without spending any time together but once we are together it's as though we've never been apart. Life just seems to pick up where we last left off.
Another certainty is that trying to get ELEVEN kids to sit still and take a picture is always going to be a challenge, but I look forward to that challenge every time.
