Marcy has always loved the guitar. She didn't marry a guitar player and hasn't learned how to play it herself, so she's been praying that at least one of her kids would someday take an interest in playing the guitar. So, I don't know who was more excited last year when Caeden got a guitar and amp for Christmas - Caeden or Marcy.It's been almost a year of learning and lessons and Caeden is making pretty good progress. He's got a great (and very talented) teacher that he really enjoys learning from. It's also pretty cool to see how he hears music differently now. He can pick out the guitar part in songs he hears and has a growing and deepening appreciation for music in general.
I'm pretty certain that if he keeps at it, his guitar playing may help him make a serious run at the Mom's Favorite status. ;-)
