One of my surprise Christmas gifts this year was my very own subscription to Real Simple magazine. My sister-in-law subscribes to the magazine and when visiting her home, I have several times enjoyed reading through recipe ideas or DIY projects. Apparently Marcy noticed my interest in the publication and thought I would enjoy my very own subscription. I'm telling you, she's brilliant!
Kyron was a bit confused after I opened the gift though:
"Why did you give Daddy your magazine, Mommy?" He said.
"That's not mom's, it's mine! It's my gift." I explained.
"That's weird." He replied. "That's a girlie magazine!"
Hmmm. I don't think that's how I would have described it, but he may just be right.
