In a very short window of time, I have had two different people, in different circles of my life specifically recommend this book to me. The book found its way into other conversations and I decided maybe this was more than coincidence and I should actually read it. I downloaded my copy through iBooks, and off I went. I hadn't heard anything about it before and I am far from a literary critic, but having almost finished it I can already tell you that this should be added to everyone's 'must read' list.
Love Does is not a deep book, it's very easy to read and entertaining along the way. The stories and life lessons have been inspiring and motivating and I am in awe of the author and his ability to live life with Whimsy. I don't know that I have ever used that word before, but it means something to me now. It's a great challenge for me to undertake:
How can I live life with more Whimsy? It may sound like a strange question, but read the book and I think you'll get it.

What is also funny, is that when
Love Does was first recommended to me, I had never heard of it. Then yesterday, while sitting in my office, I looked up at my book shelf and saw the strangest thing: I already had a copy of this book. I have no idea how it got there, nor does Marcy. If you're reading this and either loaned it to me or gave me a copy, please let me know. Apparently I wasn't listening hard enough the first time God tried to use a friend to bring the messages and lessons from this book into my life. I'm glad He kept trying and I'm glad I finally listened!
Now, listen to me.... read this this book! If you don't want to buy it yet, you can borrow my copy, apparently I have an extra. :-)
Christmas Song of the Day
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Rascal Flatts
I was really glad when Rascal Flatts put out a Christmas CD a few years ago, just wish they would have included more songs! Love this version of the classic carol though.
