12.9.12 - A Sick Tradition

It's becoming a sad tradition but December isn't just about the holidays for us, it's also about battling off the cold and flu.  I suppose that's the case for most families, but I seem to enjoy taking pictures of my kids 'battling the cruds' and then sharing them with the world.  I'm sure payback will be sweet revenge for the kids someday.

This weekend, it's been Caeden who has been having a rough time.  He missed his basketball game on Saturday and may likely miss school and another game tomorrow as well.  He keeps trying to push through with a positive attitude.  Every time he thinks he's starting to feel better he tries to get up and do something active to convince himself that he's getting better, only to crash soon after and a fever return.

Truth be told, I hate seeing my kids sick and hope this doesn't last much longer.  I especially hope he doesn't share it either.
